Sudden Death Audiobook is now live!
Happy audiobook birthday to the lone outlier in the Biogenesis War Files series!
It’s about time, too. Sudden Death has been out for a few years in print and ebook—and finally, it joins the rest as an audiobook. To celebrate the launch, the book got a new cover.
Though Tom Taylorson was unable to narrate this final book, I think you’ll be pleased with his replacement. Connor Brannigan knocked it out of the park, and he did a great job — with Thad especially.

On the book writing front, I’m in the endgame with Battlefield Diplomacy and looking forward to having this manuscript completed so I can start the third and final book in the trilogy. I’m hoping for a late-2024 release for book 1, but that’s up to the publisher. I’ll let you know the moment I learn something!
What’s your summertime reading lineup look like?
On the SF front, I just picked up The Oldest Starfighter by Jamie MacFarlane. I’m one chapter in and finding it hilarious. (I’m a sucker for dry humor and snark, lots of snark.)
On the thriller front, I just finished Sandbox by Andrews & Wilson. I have to say, it’s one of the creepiest future-tech ghost stories I’ve read in a loooong time.
If you’ve read any of my Enfield Genesis books then you’re familiar with the entity known simply as Prime. Without risking any spoilers, all I’ll say is that the antagonist in this book is comparable. And if you like being scared half out of your wits, then you may want to check this one out.
