So, NASA’s come up with a new trick, and it’s pretty nifty. They’ve partnered with the US Geological Survey to bring you a website where you can spell out your name using LandSat images from space.
Since Dagger’s Edge just launched, I thought I’d see what the Dagger’s name might look like.
Try it out for yourself! See what your own name looks like here.
New Release Alert
Today we get two great new releases!
First up:
A brand new universe from Rachel Aukes debuts with Redline Corps: Expendable.
Join the Space Corps. Journey to the stars. Meet aliens—and then vaporize them.
A news journalist arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Liv Reyes now serves as a war correspondent in a war where anyone can be drafted and everyone is expendable.
It's a war we're losing. Badly.
Liv arrives at the aftermath of a brutal space battle and unearths a story that is the key to saving humanity once and for all.
But first... she must survive the trip...
You can grab it here — in Kindle and in KU.
Next is this brand-new boxed set from Daniel Gibbs and Steve Rzasa. It’s on sale for just 99¢ — grab it while you can. It contains over 1000+ pages of Military Science Fiction action!
An all-new galaxy. A terrifying new enemy.
Colonel Mateo Larra takes command of Joint Base Sagittarius Arch, the visionary new space station housing diplomats, merchants, and military personnel eager to make their mark. But with every opportunity comes opposition.
Pirates. Smugglers. Spy games. And that’s just the beginning.
Ships vanishing without a trace.
Then one reappears like a ghost—but without her crew, leading Larra to an unimaginable horror, right on their doorstep.
And this time, it’s a fight the Coalition can’t win.

Cover Reveal!
I just got a sneak peek at the first book in the Battlefield Diplomacy series (formerly known as The Oniki Initiative: Kata Storm).
I also heard from the publisher that the release date for this series is early 2025. The reason for the delay is because the audiobook narrator is tied up until January. As soon as I have an exact date, I’ll let you know.
Matt’s going to have some interesting adventures in this series!
In the meantime, I’m plugging away at Battlefield Diplomacy 3: Insurrection.
Hey, thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day to stop by the Speakeasy.
Fair skies & tailwinds,
L.L. Richman
